- This form is for applying for the Social Inclusion stream of the CN Community Support Grants 2025.
- You must read the POLICY and GUIDELINES prior to commencing this application form to understand the grant program.
- Applications close at midnight AEST sharp, Sunday, 29 June 2025. Plan ahead so not to leave filling in your application to the last minute. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- You do not need to complete this application form in one session. Prior to the closing date you can return to this form repeatedly by clicking the 'Save and Close' button. Return to your form by logging back into SmartyGrants and clicking 'My Submissions' button (found top of page). After the closing date, your application cannot be altered.
- Routinely save your application by clicking the 'Save Progress' button.
- Retain a copy of your unique application reference number (e.g. 25SI01).
- All applications are assessed on their merit (refer section: criteria and weighting) through a competitive process. Key dates, including estimated notice of successful applications is detailed on the CN Grants webpage.

Overview
Our Community Grants provide a number of funding opportunities to support initiatives that contribute to the social, cultural, environmental and economic life of the city. They are classified as either Infrastructure Grants or Community Support Grants.
Objective
Social Inclusion Grants supports Activities that strengthen our local communities by increasing social connection and inclusion within and between communities.
Social Inclusion Stream Criteria and Weighting (%)
Assessment Criteria
- 25% - CN priorities: Activity aligns to CN's strategic planning documents and annual grant priorities.
- 25% - Social connection and inclusion: Activity demonstrates strengthening of social connection and inclusion in local communities.
- 20% - Capacity building and ongoing impact: Activity demonstrates capacity building and ongoing impact for local communities.
- 15% - Delivery: Activity demonstrates can occur on time and within budget.
- 15% - Value with public money: Activity demonstrates value for money (costs, benefits, options, and risk). Funding co-contributions from applicant and partner organisations are encouraged.
